- The feeder connects to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only — This is because 2.4GHz offers a wider range and better wall penetration, ensuring a stable connection. Please ensure your router is set to 2.4GHz during the initial setup.
What size and type of pet food is compatible with this feeder?
- It works best with standard dry food kibbles ranging from 2mm to 12mm (0.08-0.47 inches) in diameter. The dispenser uses a dual-blade rotor that keeps kibble moving instead of letting it bridge over the outlet.
To prevent the mechanism from jamming, please do not use wet, semi-moist, or freeze-dried raw food.
How much food is one "portion"? How do I set the right amount?
- 1 portion ≈ [10-15g] ≈[2 tsp]
- [5] portions ≈ [1/4 cup]
- [10] portions ≈ [1/2 cup]
- [20] portions ≈ [1 cup]
Kibble density varies a lot between brands. Weights are approximate.
If my Wi-Fi or power goes out, will my pet still be fed?
- For power, the feeder has a dual power system: a Type-C cable as the main supply, plus 3 AA batteries as automatic backup. If the mains cut out, the batteries take over immediately — no reset, no lost settings, no missed meal. When power returns, it switches back on its own.
